»The head is round so that thinking can change direction« (Francis Picabia)
Sometimes tight specifications, restrictions and boundaries can challenge - and encourage - creativity. Alan von Lützau gives himself a simple grid of overlapping circles and discovers a whole zoo of amazingly likeable animals in it. The longer he thinks in circles, the more animals meet each other and you and you want to join in. Then the creative cycle begins, the visual circuit training.
Copy the grid at the end of the book, let your imagination run wild and tease out the figures hidden in the circular grids. Weave characters from creative circles into visual short stories and train your eyes. From now on you will like to think in circles - and yet out of the box...
