On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the BDG (Professional Association of German Communication Designers), 16 specialist authors shed light on various facets of communication design in this anniversary publication: from editorial design, advertising, corporate design, political design and design of public spaces to interfaces -, interaction, user experience and service design.

The development is traced from classic commercial art to the comprehensive design of communication media and processes.
